orientation project part 2

So last you heard, I had found some ideas. I wrote them all down in my lil’ reporters notebook in a list and started calling everyone, asking if they’d be interested in a story and if I could get a photo with them.

Mostly everyone was ok with the story idea but the hardest part was finding a time and place to meet up with people and get a photo with them. I understand the point is to show that you met them in person and that they actually exist but it took up so much time (and gas) to race around town just for an iphone photo.

Luckily, the people I contacted are up for a story and that means I can stock up all those ideas  I collected and use them in the future. I think this’ll be a nice break from pitch-searching and I can focus more on interviewing and writing.
